Family Bucket List

Our family has always loved having experiences together, and we often dream about making memories in various ways. For that reason, I decided to make a bucket list of some of the things we have discussed, and this has been a great way to track our ideas and have unique experiences in the process.

What is a bucket list? A bucket list is a list or collection of dreams and goals to achieve in your lifetime. The list can be as specific or generic as you want it to be. It can be a list to span the years of your life or it could just be a season of a year (ex. Summer Bucket List). You could put a timeline on the list–such as one calendar year–or you could allow it to stand for the lifetime of the family members. The point is, you can make your bucket list whatever you want it to be and the kids love it! They love to think of interesting new experiences for our family to consider…and this is one time that I don’t try to limit the wild ideas conjured up in their minds!

This list is fluid and we are constantly adding to it. That’s a big part of the fun!! Why not use some of our ideas or create your own family bucket list?….

  • Play in the mud
  • Dance in the rain
  • Climb a mountain together
  • Go to Disneyland
  • Jump waves in the ocean
  • Visit two islands in Hawaii
  • Design and make an item of clothing
  • Create a new recipe
  • Go on an international missions trip
  • Meet someone who is on TV

  • Run through a field of tall grass or wild flowers

  • Make a family time capsule
  • Take a cross-country road trip

Hey new friend, I’m Tammica.

I love this! Our children are only this small once and we need to take advantage of the time we have with them NOW! Let’s let our hair down and enjoy today! Thank you for this wonderful reminder of what is important and how to be creative about it.
